My approach to life and my place in the “body” Romans 12:1-5
“in view of God’s mercy”
conformed or transformed (circle one)
“sober judgment” = a modest assessment of oneself in light of God.

I Peter 2:9-10 (God’s view of me): A chosen people, a royal priesthood, belonging to God.

My place: “We belong to all the others.”

Which gift has God given me? Romans 12:6-8
Prophesying: Speaking God’s word to those who will listen
Serving: Energized by quietly filling a need
Encouragement: Encouraging to Godliness when someone is doing the right thing, the wrong thing, or is discouraged
Giving: Looking to meet a need
Showing Mercy: Overflowing with compassion & empathy
Other: Administration, Discernment, Evangelism, Faith, Prayer, Shepherding, Wisdom

What do “gifts” have to do with HOSPITALITY?
1. You need to know what you have in order to share it.
2. Because you are unique, your expression of hospitality will be unique.
